New transaction: Acquisition of BAKT Autotehnika

Leading wholesale distributor of automotive parts “AD Baltic” is entering the Estonian market. A part of international group “Autodistribution International”, “AD Baltic” has acquired Estonian company “Bakt Autotehnika” selling auto parts.

According to Kęstutis Tubutis, head of “AD Baltic”, the development of the company in Estonia will enable them to offer a much greater range of automotive parts and a better organization of logistics services to the market of this country.

“In Estonia, we are planning to adapt the strategy of “Autodistribution International” – we will develop electronic commerce and introduce innovative logistic solutions which will facilitate the work of our partners selling auto parts in Estonia. We hope that our extensive experience and a good knowledge of the market will help us to achieve the best results in the Estonian market,” said K. Tubutis.

Operating in Estonia since 1993, “Bakt Autotehnika” in 2009 achieved a turnover of 25 million Estonian kroons. “AD Baltic” has 16 divisions in Lithuania, Latvia and Belarus with 340 employees working for them. The turnover of the company in 2009 reached nearly 24 million euro. “AD Baltic” is a part of the international group “Autodistribution International” operating in 27 countries. In 2009, the ADI turnover amounted to 5.2 billion euro.
